At Campus Course, we believe that true school pride extends far beyond graduation day. The passion and skills developed during collegiate careers continue to shine on the world's biggest stages, particularly on the PGA Tour, where university allegiances remain a point of pride for players and fans alike.
That's why we're thrilled to introduce the inaugural Campus Course Cup – a season-long challenge celebrating the collegiate roots of professional golf excellence while giving back to the programs that helped shape today's stars.
Born on Campus, Perfected on Tour
Just as our premium collegiate golf apparel was "Born on Campus," the world's greatest golfers refined their skills while competing for their universities. The Campus Course Cup honors this legacy by tracking which alma maters produce the most tournament winners throughout the PGA Tour season.
The concept is simple: every time a PGA Tour player wins a tournament, their university earns a point in the Campus Course Cup standings. At the conclusion of the season, following the TOUR Championship, we'll make a donation to the golf program of the university with the most wins along with their local chapter of the First Tee – supporting the next generation of collegiate golf talent.
Current Standings: Bulldogs Leading the Pack
As we approach the home stretch of the season, the University of Georgia sit on top of the standings with five tournament victories from four different players. Sepp Straka (2), Harris English, Russell Henley, and Brian Harman have all claimed titles this season, showcasing the remarkable depth and quality of Georgia's golf program alumni.
Scottie Scheffler's historic run has vaulted the University of Texas into 2nd place with four tournament wins. Scheffler has all four, three of which coming in his last four starts.
Four prestigious programs are currently tied for second place with two wins each: the University of Illinois, Stanford University, Oklahoma State University, and the University of North Carolina – all storied programs that continue to produce elite professional talent.
Twelve additional universities have made their mark on the standings with one tournament victory each, illustrating the widespread collegiate influence across professional golf's highest level.
The Campus Course Cup officially teed off when Auburn University alumnus Patton Kizzire claimed victory at the Procore Championship, earning the Tigers their first point in the standings. The competition will culminate following the season-ending TOUR Championship, where we'll crown our inaugural Campus Course Cup champion.
In the event of a tie at season's end, the tiebreaker will be determined by the cumulative score under par across each school's victories – rewarding not just wins, but dominant performances.
More Than a Competition
The Campus Course Cup embodies our core mission: through apparel and community, we will inspire school pride in every setting. By highlighting the collegiate backgrounds of PGA Tour winners, we celebrate the lasting impact of university golf programs while creating another avenue for alumni and fans to express their school pride.
Moreover, this initiative aligns with our commitment of driving resources back to future leaders. The donation to the winning program and their local First Tee chapter represents another way we're investing in golf's bright future.
As the season progresses, we invite you to follow along with the Campus Course Cup standings on our website and social media channels. Cheer for your alma mater's golfers on Tour, and wear your school's colors proudly – both on and off the course – with Campus Course premium apparel.
